BRIEF HISTORY SINCE 1996 . . .
Our services were already operational in the year 1980 under the expertise of Mr. Jeffrey Sinniah who provided golf booking services to Travel Agencies, Expatriates & Corporate Clients.
Then in 1996, a proper establishment came to be known as Steiner Golf Services under the guidance of Mr. Anthony Jeya who expanded the company’s operations to Johor (Malaysia) by organizing many Golf Events & Monthly Medals.
In 1998, Steiner Golf merged with GolfMaster Pte Ltd (f.k.a. Palmer Golf), a well established golf retail & wholesale company with a flagship outlet in Liang Court. Under the supervision of Mr. James Ong, our operations were intensified with the use of Limousine Transfers to compliment golf for Hotel Guest which expanded a new market that helped in the retail business as well.
Finally the company became independent on 1st May 2002 to form GolfMaster Asia Pte Ltd & with the new leadership, we embarked into the next generation by expanding regionally to provide Golf Bookings to various parts of Malaysia, Indonesia & Thailand. We also intensified golf events management & ventured into golf premiums & corporate services to clients. On 1st October 2009, a golf handicapping department, ‘Golf Allianze’ was established as a club without real estate & through the associate membership with the Singapore Golf Association (SGA) we were able to issue a USGA golf handicap Index to our clients who had eventually become our Club Members. Although Golf Allianze became a separate entity on 1st January 2012, GolfMaster Asia continues to be the Managing Agent & Administers the issuance of handicaps through a Handicapping Committee.
